BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansive phase due to billion-dollar deals!

To meet the high demand, BAE Systems Hägglunds is recruiting another Welding Production Engineer.

Your future challenge

You will provide production engineering support to the production and design departments. You will work together with a team of over 25 production engineers.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing efficient processes and methods for welding
• Reviewing production drawings
• Suggesting tools and fixtures
• Reporting deviations in SAP and participating in quality investigations
• Involved in investments and implementation of new technology

The production engineering department is part of a section within BAE called Prototyping and Hull. Within our section, we build the chassis that become finished vehicles and manage all processes with high-tech machines from cutting to painting in-house.

Reporting will be to the production engineering manager.

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a technical university degree, vocational training in production engineering, or other relevant education. IWS and IWE training is an advantage. You have both practical and theoretical experience in manual and robotic welding. Experience with the design tool - Catia, the business system SAP, and Aras is also advantageous. As we are an international company, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are technically interested and structured. You have your own drive and enjoy collaborating with others. You are the problem solver who works goal-oriented and like to connect loose threads into a whole.
